It's been a while since the construction of this blog. Looking at it, it looks so empty. I ma really sorry if my way of writing is kind of messy because I have only been recently back into writing due to the fact that i recently entered an RP group . Someday, I pray that my writing will improve.
As you can see, I am an avid fan of the Encantadia series since I was still seven years old and my recent debut was inspired from the series. My first entry since forever will start with the 2016 pilot episode. ahahaha

Fans of the Encantadia series have been waiting for the original series to be revived. GMA granted their wish. Tonight, the pilot episode of Encantadia 2016 was broadcasted on channel 7 (GMA's channel.)
For those who aren't familiar of the series, Encantadia is a Filipino fantaserye (fantasy and series) aired on GMA last 2005 where the plot, the characters and the setting made quite a positive impact to the Filipinos. The drama is about the four sisters who serve as the guardians of the four elemental 'brilyantes'. Long before they were born, the three kingdoms, Lireo, Sapiro and Adamya were at war against Hathoria, the fourth kingdom of Encantadia. The sibling rivalry played a big role in the war as one of the sisters pledged allegiance to Hathoria, declaring her fellow sisters as enemies. The sisters managed to reconcile in the nick of time before the great war where they have to defend their home kingdom.
The pilot epsiode looks very promising as the reboot was able to showcase improved CGI, and some settings' aesthetics, particularly the throne room of Lireo. Hathoria hrone room became less creepy, Sapiro became smaller while Adamya was still Adamya.
In regards to the characters, Marian Rivera so far did a great job as being the fierce, protective Ynang Reyna. Sunshine Dizon was also there as the deposed queen who was later replaced by Cassiopoeia. Cassiopoeia in this series looks tougher. Minea and Raquim/'s affections for each other was also highlighted in the pilot episode. What surprised me was when they added a sister of Ynang Reyna who wasn't there in the first series, and named her as Amihan. I thought they were really going downhill but in the later part, I realized it was part of the plot.
The first episode served mainly as a prologue, divided into four parts for the audience to get a grasp of Encantadia's background.
So far so good. There were some parts that needs to be improved to be improved though. I won't say much about the CGI since I know right from the start Philippine CGI isn't that good. But if I were to decide, GMA is better with the CGI effects compared to other Philippine stations. I appreciated the efforts they put in to make Encantadia more realistic. I loved the symbols for each kingdom and the revised map of Encantadia.
I received the pilot episode positively and I hope that GMA won't butcher my childhood favorite series.

First Personal Blog Post.
4:11pm, Philippine Time.
Hello! Classes ended early in the afternoon so I had the time to make this blog. This is my first time making a blog and I have clearly NO IDEA what to put in.
So expect completely random posts here since I am planing to make a travel blog soon because it would be a waste just watching the spectacular scenes the world has to offer and not being able to share them. Travelling around, may it be abroad or inside of the country, MONEY is involved depending on the distance of the place.
That's it for now!! See you later!
